Mon Chéri Cattery is a both a CFA Cattery of Excellence and a TICA Outstanding Cattery. We have been breeding pet and show quality Exotic Shorthair kittens for sale and Exotic Longhair kittens for sale for over 20 years according to CFA standards. We want our Exotic Shorthair kittens and Exotic Longhair kittens to be healthy, beautiful, well-socialized and smart.
We consider ourselves as a “boutique breeder”, meaning we only raise a small number of liters per year with a limited number of Exotic Shorthair kittens and Exotic Longhair kittens for sale. Our breeding program focuses on quality, not quantity. We are committed to raising exceptional Exotic Shorthair kittens and Exotic Longhair kittens in a loving, environment. It is extremely important to us that each and every kitten is properly socialized and given the love and individual attention that they deserve.

Both CFA and TICA have programs whereby a cattery may obtain a certification for adhering to a higher standard of care for their cats and passes onsite inspections by a licensed veterinarian.
CFA or The Cat Fanciers’ Association, Inc. is currently the world’s largest registry of pedigreed cats and known as the most prestigious pedigreed cat registering association in North America. TICA or The International Cat Association is the fastest growing registry of pedigreed cats and domestic cats in the world.

Our Exotic Shorthair and Exotic Longhair kittens are from outstanding pedigrees including champions, which trace to Kings and Queens from Russia, Germany, European imports, and carefully chosen domestic bloodlines.
And to us, personality is just as important as appearance… All of our Mon Chéri king cats are sweet and loving that pass down their gentle nature to their kittens. Mon Chéri king cats give us exquisitely beautiful Exotic Shorthair and Exotic Longhair kittens that are also gentle and playful.
Our Mon Chéri queen cats have beautiful, friendly, and healthy Exotic Shorthair and Exotic Longhair kittens. Our moms are incredibly special and get treated like the queens they are! We only allow them to have one or two litters a year so keep them healthy. All of our queens absolutely adore their babies and you can see their love in how they care for them.

Many ask us, what does Mon Chéri mean? Mon Chéri is French for “My Darling”. Our adorable Exotic Shorthair kittens and Exotic Longhair kittens have been our darlings and we promise they will be your darlings too!
Where is Mon Chéri Located?
Our farm is located just outside of Booneville, Arkansas. FSM and XNA airports are nearby and serviced by Air Tran, Allegiant, American, Delta, or United Airlines. Pet nanny’s are available for safe transport. If you would like to pick up in person, we are near Magazine Mountain in the heart of the beautiful Ouchita Mountain region of Southwest Arkansas. Because this is one of the nation’s most popular vacation destinations, some may want to combine their visit with a getaway weekend nearby. Should you buy from a Breeder or a Cattery?
We understand there are questionable breeders and scams out there. Whether you purchase from us or another cattery, we urge you to verify legitimacy on CFA which stands for The Cat Fanciers’ Association, Inc. and is currently the world’s largest registry of pedigreed cats and known as the most prestigious pedigreed cat registering association in North America. We would also be happy to provide a video conference call.
A reputable Exotic Shorthair and Exotic Longhair cattery or breeder take a lot of time and effort to make sure your kitten is just right for you and the healthiest kitten possible. “Back yard” breeders will sell kittens too early, barely weaned without shots and don’t care if you don’t get your kitten spayed or neutered. They also don’t care if you declaw. “Back yard breeders” won’t be there to help you through the process of bringing the kitten home, getting it used to you, your home, your family and your other pets.
If you should need help after the purchase, a reputable breeder will be there for you, for the life of your Exotic Shorthair or Exotic Longhair kitten. Buying from a cattery will also help protect your investment from the scams online, such as buying what you think is a “cheap Exotic Shorthair kitten for sale” and it turns out to be an older Exotic Shorthair cat with health issues, inbred or not really even a Exotic Shorthair kitten.

My husband and I are both currently semi-retired. We are animal lovers. Breeding and caring for Exotic Shorthair and Exotic Longhair kittens in our cattery is how we LOVE spending our time and have enjoyed this for the last 20 years. We also love photography, flowers, gardening and raising Paint and Pintabian horses on our farm. We love our cats and kittens and take pride in our Exotic Shorthair and Exotic Longhair cattery.
